much. Before we get started on the details of your argument, tell us something about your own background, because I think that

is relevant to your story. Yeah, so my background, I'm a Kurdish-Iranian, and I came with

my family to Sweden as a child. And like many immigrants, when we came to Sweden, we were

trapped in welfare dependency.

So although my father and mother had successful jobs in Iran, they became dependent on the

welfare state in Sweden. And so we grew up in a, you know, marginalized welfare state family,

welfare support family.

Later, I got a PhD, and I've been working on public policy issues.

I've written more than 100 public policy reports and around 20 books,
