Hello everybody. Tom Woods here. We're talking about the great Murray Rothbard today.

Once in a while, an article comes out that I use as a jumping off point to talk about something I want to

talk about anyway. And there was an article, a very, very juvenile article written making fun of

Murray Rothbard sometime a few days ago. So I thought,

you know, I haven't really done a good episode going through who Rothbard really was and why he

mattered. And, you know, why did Ludwig von Mises think he mattered? Why did people who, you know,

really matter think he mattered? What did he accomplish? And it's a lot.

So joining me to talk about the great Murray Rothbard are Lou Rockwell, chairman of the Mises

Institute, also its founder, publisher of Lou Rockwell.com, the executor of the estate of Murray

Rothbard, and also former chief of staff to Ron Paul. Then also Jeff

Diced, who was Ron Paul's last chief of staff and who is now president of the Mezes Institute,

and Joe Salerno, who is academic vice president of the Mezes Institute, as well as a professor

of economics at Pace University. He's also the author of the book Money, Sound and Unsound.
