I was in tears.

You know, so much was being taken away from me in my personal life.

And all I could think of was this is something they can't take away from me.

This is going to be mine.

This will always be mine.

And it was just an incredibly emotional moment.

Travis was producing the shows at the time. Kurt was pretty much doing all the hosting.

In a quick story about this episode,

I was being trained to take over the show at this point. I didn't officially become host of the

show until about fall of 2018, but I was already kind of involved in helping produce in the

summer of 2018. And so this is one of the first episodes I was kind of helping out a lot with. And I remember, you know, just being so happy and so proud about it. The next day, I was, I was somewhere for work, like a conference or something. And I remember just, you know, we were in line to get coffee at this conference and I was talking to the guy in front of me. And we were just talking about what we do and I was like yeah you know, you know, I'm starting to help out with this podcast. And he was like, oh, you know, what is it? And I said, Adventure Sports Podcast. And this episode had come out that day, that morning with David Morrow. And he opens the app, you know, opens, you know, finds the podcast and looks at the episode,

the first episode and just,

this is the look of shock of utter disbelief

just washes over his face.

And I'm like, you know, did I say something

or is there something that got leaked on the,

like what's happening?

And so I was like, hey man, like, what is it?

And he just slowly said, my name is David Morrow.

And I said, did we interview you for the podcast?

He's like, no, that's not me.
