Democrats say crazy things because they're trying to appeal to their base and also because they have made a crucial category error. The category error they have made is that if people don't like President

Trump, that means that people don't like anything President Trump agrees with. So they're making a

category error. There's a category error that people make about bad people, where they think, okay,

well, this bad person did X, therefore X is bad. Well, that's not always true, right? Hitler owned a dog. Doesn't mean owning a dog is bad. It means Hitler is bad, but owning a dog, not bad. Donald Trump, a lot of people may not like him, but that does not mean that the American people take the opposite position on all of the issues he espouses.
