I hope that you have had a great week,

and this is my Saturday series.

This is the episode each week where I tell you more

of my personal story.

I wanted to do that because after seven years,

I feel like it's important for you to have some sort of context

to the life experiences that I've had.

And really my interest in people,

which is the whole reason for this show.

I wanted to create a podcast about unscripted TV

because ultimately I find real people

and real stories are the most interesting.

So throughout those episodes,

I've given you more insight into growing up

in suburban Philadelphia,

going to a private boarding school for underprivileged kids,

moving to Virginia Beach,

then to Los Angeles, meeting my estranged father.

I've given you a window into some of the most special relationships

in my life.
