This week very excited to bring you a special Monday episode right before the 2020 presidential

election and we brought on a person who barely needs any introduction.

Mr. Eric, actually as you say, doctor, doctor Eric Weinstein.

Of course, Eric close the portal podcast.

You're sure you know him from Joe Rogan.

He's the brother of one of our previous guests, Dr. Brett Weinstein.

Eric is one of the smartest minds I know whenever it comes to analyzing systems,

using scientific concepts to break down our understanding of politics.

He's also somebody who's fed up with both Joe Biden and Donald Trump, which I think

probably better describes you know many of you out there who are listening.

He grapples with questions of power.

He grapples with questions of why we might feel disenfranchised in a moment like this.

And he gives us all actually a little bit of a reason for hope for what a better future could look like.

This is easily hands down one of my favorite episodes that we've ever done.

And I think you guys are going to get a lot out of it in a way to think about the 2020 election in a very different way.

The best part about this conversation with Eric is he's able to look towards the future because

as Saga and I have pointed out many times, we not only don't want to do horse race politics,

we're really bored by horse race politics.

So this is actually a great show that's going to stand even after the election because as to Saga's point,

he's very much someone who's interested in what's going to happen in 2024,

not the specific sort of electoral breakdown of the election the day before.
