Now you're remembering episode 6 we left off talking about the brutal attack on Dr. Apadja Bandara.

But before I tell you about that in detail, I want to circle back to the other interviews of PS in 1980.

Interview number 7 of PS took place on the 13th of January 1980.

PS and his wife Sonja were interviewed at their home by Detective Sargent from West Yorkshire Police and a detective constable from Greater Manchester Police.

PS was asked what he was doing on the night of Barbara Leach's murder four months previously and he had no alibi.

The officers searched PS's house as well as examining his boots and the tools in his garage.

PS stated that he'd provided a handwriting sample in a previous interview which took the officers by surprise.

Now they would later check with the incident room and they found some interview documents conducted during the red light monitoring.

However the Latvian report was still in inverted commas out of the system.

Now out of the system, what does that mean you're wondering right?

Yeah, me too.

Well we're going to dig into that when we analyse and assess the Biford report.

That's the investigation launched at the behest of then Prime Minister Margaret Fatcher into the handling of the Yorkshire R-word investigation.

And that's what it was actually called you know.

They didn't title it the investigation into PS and government officials still continue to use that God or Fomonica created by the media.
