Beautiful. Well I am fresh off the plane from Austin and I and I do really mean fresh off the plane we got in it to a.m. last night but it was worth it it was wow what a city what a fun city it completely exceeded my expectations I've been there before but a long time ago and it was just that everyone was so lovely.

If you don't know I went with Bala which is a brand that I love very very dearly it's the weighted ankle or ankle and wrist weights that I wear on my rich mom walks and I first discovered them in the pandemic because you know everybody we were all like what can we buy at home to stay fit and obviously I didn't buy a peloton I didn't want to buy a peloton but I was like these are really cute and I love to walk so this is an easy way to enhance my walks but they were sold out everywhere I remember

when they started getting big and and and they were just sold out everywhere so it was really cool to learn more about their story this weekend I hosted a panel with their founders Max and Natalie and Mark Cuban so no big deal and I took Sabah and Lauren with me and I was saying yesterday like you really don't know people until you travel with them.

You really don't know your friends like even if you work with them every day or you really close to them you really don't know so people unless you travel with them and I've had it go both ways like usually I either leave an whirlwind trip like this loving or hating someone good good to report that I'm more in love with them than ever before.

And it you know really struck me part of the panel you know people were asking Mark Cuban for advice and he was saying like you have to have good people around you you have to hire for your weaknesses and and I was agreeing with Mr. Mark Cuban although I have less experience than him and I said you know to the audience who there's a lot of entrepreneurs in the audience at South by you know it's so important to have people that you trust and love around you.

Yeah sorry to give more context we were there for South by Southwest which if you don't know it's a really cool conference I think it lasts for two weeks and it's everything it's it's you know there's movie premieres there was concerts there was activations there was panels everything between it was really really cool and it was just a really cool vehicle to see the city through and obviously within 12 hours I was like I want to move to Austin so fun I'm obsessed with it the food is great the people are nice and Austinites are really cool.

And I was like tonight's on the whole very very welcoming a couple of you guys did say that you thought I had South by goggles on and actually there was just like a lot of hot people from all over the place because they kept saying oh my god the guys are so hot here and a few of you Austinite girlies were like tinks you have goggles on number one number two you've had 10 Margaret is today and number three there's a lot of people in town for the conference so fair enough fair enough I take that feedback.

And there's what we didn't eight because I know that people wanted a list of where we ate and boy did we eat we ate like we've never eaten before oh my god it was absolutely fantastic so we got in late Thursday night and of course classic we were like we'll just go for one drink to you know say hello to the city you know it was late we landed at 930 we go out obviously the night ends in drunkenness and hilarity at like midnight we went to so her us Austin and before you roll your eyes.

And say tinks did you really go to another city and just go to the so house here's why I actually think it's kind of a good way to get to know a city at least like a douchebag big city like Austin or L.A.

Or Chicago whatever because it's kind of apples to apples right you can see the same experience like so how's this so hot so I wanted to see the vibe there and also like we knew we could get in there wouldn't be like a stressful you know trying to get a table situation so we go some of the hottest people I've ever seen in my life again I understand that they might be in town for South by but it was just

a really really fun vibe and some of our friends some of my friends came to meet us and you know when people come in and they just match your energy they they're like okay I see that you are in a great mood and you want to drink in party and I'm going to meet you there that's exactly what these guys did for us we played a game called piccolo if you guys don't have it on your phone it is I think the most fun and easy drinking game it's an app this sounds like an ad it's not I wish that they were paying me because it's not going to be a good thing to do it.

It's actually a really expensive app but if you love to host or you know you're going to be going on a group trip with a big group of people you need to play this game piccolo hot tip though it's a sneaky thing they charge you every week yes I said every week which is like completely outrageous so only download it for like when you actually want to use it so if I know I'm going on a trip I'll pay for it that week but then I like uninstall it and cancel my subscription on my phone which is a lot of fuss for a drinking game and you guys know I'm going to do it.

I know I'm a lazy bitch so it must be fun anyway we're playing piccolo I end up getting dared or maybe not even dared I was like showing off trying to do the splits I'm 90% sure that I tore something you guys I heard something pop I'm crying in the bathroom I'm like face on me my mom trying to show her where my leg is broken like it was just a typical fun night.

If any there are any doctors or physical therapists out there please get in touch because boy does my leg still hurt.

So then Friday we ate at an amazing restaurant called Clarks we had a very hungry breakfast at Clarks amazing seafood oysters just really really good food we then visited the Seattle headquarters I try to be gluten free you guys know that because of some hormone stuff that I have.

And Seattle are the best gluten free grain free chips and it's actually a really cute story there a family of seven thus the name Seattle.

And it's funny because I actually discovered them when I was living in New York and I was I was working as a writer and I would cover a lot of wellness stories and like new companies and that's how I discovered them because actually wrote an article about them but I've always loved their brand and they were like you're not seen come by.
