Thanks, Annie. I'm so glad. So why don't you kind of take us back to the beginning in your journey with alcohol? Where did it all start for you? Oh, wow. Well, I mean the beginning. Sorry. I started drinking when I was 15. I got a job the summer of grade 9, like literally wrote my last exam and went to my first shift and it happened to be in the hospitality industry and yeah it was thrown into this whirlwind of working with older people who

partied all the time and really getting into that just party. and I grew up in a

grew up in a family that was always partying.

So there was a lot of alcoholism in my household and you know my my mom and my dad were both heavy drinkers growing up and yeah, so I think it was just kind of natural that I would also drink heavily.

You know I was I'm I part Irish and Scottish so that also kind of adds to that mentality of thinking about yourself like owning the identity of drinker.

And yeah, I just always grew up with like my mom being kind of a big influence and she, you know,

she was really just a big drinker.

So I grew up with it being like kind of a

just a natural progression of life.

Like I never thought I was never around people that didn't drink. I didn't have anybody in my life that didn't drink. So it was just like natural that I would pick it up as well.

And so when you were when you were 15 and you went out or was it like at a job and

you got offered your first drinks?

Yeah, I would say it was really quickly like I was always around alcohol but I don't really remember really being

interested in drinking it like I don't remember sneaking it like obviously I was 15 so I was still

underage but before that I don't remember really wanting to you know sneak it and steal it or anything like that.

But then once I hit, you know, that 15, then you're in high school and you're starting to get

pressured by some of the older kids in school and I was a big hospital
