We are finally moving on from REC's and already beginning our look into Becca's season,

which will begin filming tonight or tomorrow night. We're recording this on a Monday. So you'll know by my Twitter

account today or tomorrow whether or not the season starts filming. I believe it's tomorrow night,

but we'll see. Anyway, I've given you 10 of the guys that I posted yesterday. So check those out if you'd like.

I really appreciate it and keep it up. Let's get to our guest. She is a columnist for the LA Times.

She recently completed a book that was released last week called Bachelor Nation inside the world of

America's favorite guilty pleasure. It's Amy Kaufman. Amy, how are you? Good. Steve's in the book. Yes, I am.

Pages 257 and 260 for anybody that's counting. Yeah, and the book is 265 pages. So I'm you saved the best for last,

basically, is what you did. It's weird because when I when you talk to me about this book, this was and it wasn't until I

looked in the index because you list everybody you talk to when you talk to them, how you spoke to them, whether it was by email,

by phone, by Skype, I didn't realize we had spoken in August of 16. I mean, you've been working on this book for a long,

long time. So before we get into that, tell everyone a little bit about your background and basically what inspired you to write this particular book.

Sure. So yeah, like you said, I work at the LA Times. I write about like movies and actors and trends in the industry and stuff.

And that does not include TV most of the time. But I just have loved the show forever and you know, covered it for the LA Times, like recapping it.

And as a result of that, I got, you know, you know how it works. Like people from bachelor nations sort of start like reaching out to you on Twitter.

So like Robert Mills and Alon and all of them would say hi and I would meet them at like women tell all or get to interview Chris Harris and every now and again.
