Wetus. Together Brendan and I break down the writing, recording, and release of their

mega hit from the turn of the century, Teenage Dirtbag, taken from their self-titled album

in 2000. The influences Brendan listed behind the

inspiration of the song are phenomenal. From L. L. Kool J to A. C. D.C. to

soul coughing and about a dozen more artists were mentioned as influential markers that Brendan strived to hit with this track.

And he did. For those reasons alone, that is why I feel this song absolutely stands on its own as being a one of a kind unique piece of music.

In addition to that, the way the band layered the instrumentation and
