My guest today is the president and chief executive officer of Equinox Funds, Bob Anck.

He's overseen the overall operations of Equinox Fund since March of 2007.

And for those of you that are not familiar with Equinox, they're pioneers in developing what they

would call investor-friendly alternatives, such as the first

multi-strategy managed futures mutual fund. Now, for those of you that might be immediately wondering,

what does this have to do with my world? Well, first off, I love diversity. Number two,

for those of you not aware, managed futures encompasses trend following.

Perhaps 50% of the managed futures universe, perhaps much more, is derived from trend following

strategies.

So in the world of appropriate fund management, you will hear terms like managed futures and CTA.

These are terms that have been around for a long time. Some people know them. Some people don't.

But as I note, often, the root strategy is trend following. So that gives Bob and I quite a bit to talk about today. Plus,

fund management, portfolio management, the appropriate portfolio for you, the investor,

whether it's you, the individual investor, or you listening, who might be an advisor to investors.
