It is technically Saturday morning.

And I guess the sun will rise, Joey, but not for Illinois football fans and

understandably so. Is Nebraska, Nebraska, who lost their first two power five games, albeit

Michigan, Colorado, or decent teams. Nebraska just clobbered Illinois, 20 to 7, physically

dominated them mostly in the trenches, especially on their defensive side of the

football. But Illinois never led against a team that came in here, two and three. And I have no

silver linings of this game. I have nothing to say that will make people feel better, but we're

still going to talk about this joy because this is a disaster of a

season for Illinois, starting two and four, oh, and three in the Big Ten. Maybe expectations

were a little too high, but this is terrible football. This is bad ball, as Jay Lehman would say.

Illinois's offense, seven points in year two under barry lone junior the defense did put out

some fires but the special teams an absolute disaster tonight which they had been a solid

bright spot so far this season what a disaster of a game what a disaster of a six game

start to the season?
