to punch we got spinning gear versus bait casting casting gear if you will we got waiter dave and scott ray in texas of course

we had find a texan who's going to take the side of bait casting and we had luke on here but there

was a little group chat going on between the four of us including luke and scott's like this

isn't fair it's going to be three against

one. And so Lou dropped out. I'm going to be an unbiased moderator. And now we've got two men

left in the ring to duke this out and talk about the pros, the cons, personal experiences,

even in Texas, where apparently baked casters are superior for some

unknown reason.

Maybe we'll find out today.

I don't know, Dave, you spent time there and you spend time in Florida, even up in the northeast.

So I'm excited.

I think we should kick it off with something that is on everyone's mind is backlashes versus

wind knots what's happening in the wind because that's the first thing that the people who are

in the spinning gear always hammers oh man you see they're about to make the perfect cast to a

tailing redfish and get this big old whiplash bird nest and can't make the cast and you're

digging it out uh let's start there what do you guys think i'm up for that um since i'm the old man
