Yesterday, in the middle of the afternoon, beloved Philadelphia rapper PNB Rock

was brutally shot and killed in broad daylight at the world famous

Roscoe's chicken and waffles in Los Angeles. My family and I've been there a dozen times.

Somebody literally came in and shot and killed this man while he was eating at Roscoe's.

And I hadn't heard about it until my son sent me a message.

And this must be the tenth rapper that he loved who's been shot and killed.

My son is 16 years old and this is happening over and over and over again.

To say that it's exhausting is an understatement but the violence has pushed all of us

to a place where we are incredibly frustrated, obviously traumatized.

But we've got to do something about this. I want to unpack and explain what we know.

Not just about this case but about really what is an epidemic of gun violence in America.

It's not just a black problem but it is a black problem.
