Welcome to talking scripture talking to scripture. I'm Mike and I'm Bryce and today we're

going to talk about Heelman 7 through 12 isn't that right right?

Yep. Okay so what's in here?

All right, so let's go back to last week.

If you didn't hear last week's podcast,

I want to point out that the book of Heelimmon

is very, very unique because it's a pattern of our day.

Third Nephi is a pattern of the Second Coming. The way Jesus came

to the Nephites in the Book of Mormon the first time is very similar to the

way Jesus is going to come to the world the second time. So third

Nephi is a pattern of the second coming which puts us in the book of Heilim and we are

pre-Second Coming and so I think what the Lord is doing here

is trying to set the stage to say, here are some of the things you will deal with prior

to the second coming. And the Lord never points out a problem with deal with

challenges that we're going to the second coming.

So the book of Heleman is filled with challenges that we're going to face in our day

and their anecdotes. So last week we talked about one of them and that was we talked about the
