The Celtics take on the warriors for the NBA title, James Franklin needs to win more games

The Golden State warriors are the talk of the town rat right now, as they should be,

considering they're playing in their six NBA finals in the last eight years.

Steph has shown his flashes of brilliance, Clay Thompson looks healthy,

Traymon still Dremon, and the added bonus of Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, and Looney stepping

up has the warriors clicking on all cylinders. So this finals should be a cakewalk for Golden State

and Curry, right? False. The Celtics will win this series for a couple of reasons. The first

is physics. Boston has vastly superior size to Golden State, with the Williams Duo, Al Horford,

and even Thys being a serviceable backup, along with the tunnel-lengthic The Guard position.

But that isn't the biggest advantage the Celtics have in my opinion.

The Celtics can play at the pace the warriors want to, which is fast, or the Celtics can play in

the half-court set, slow it down, and be effective. Clay and Steph won't be able to run around Scott

free like they've done in their previous series either. Boston will clog the gaps,

slow down the freedom off the screens, the shots will be more contested, the drives will be

more physical, and the finishes will be even tougher. Boston's also had a tougher road to get here.

Not that that's the biggest key. The warriors have way more experience as a core in the finals,

but there's something to be said for the grittiness of the Boston Celtics.

We all know the game comes down to stars, and that's going to be the tipping point.
