I got this interview while on a six day break from working safety for a TV show.

I was between shoot locations. I had just flown

home to Anchorage, Alaska from three weeks in New Mexico, and I was staying at my sister Crystal's house.

I did this interview in a closet in her guest bedroom which is where she stores her paper

towels and toilet paper. I was literally standing in the closet staring up paper products

for an hour while talking to four people through a computer screen. Right now I'm up editing this episode at 2 a.m. on

summer solstice. I have to squeeze in time to edit between working safety on the

third episode of this TV show. So this episode was edited at the old twoousitna Lodge off the Denali Highway,

surrounded by a massive expansive mountains like Baldy, Mount Gate, Mount Deborah,

Hesse Hayes, and even the Toussitna Glacier winding out of the eastern Alaska range into the distance.

I had lakes to swim in and wild animals to be inspired by.
