Why Sportsman's Guide? Hey, everybody, Joe Simons, like diamonds.

You know, Luke Simons? Like Diamonds. We're here to talk about Sportsman's Guide. If you haven't heard sportsman's guide, aka

Chrysera Brands, who owns Sportsman's Guide and the golf warehouse and a couple other

pretty big websites and e-commerce sites and baseball and softball, they have acquired Salt Strong.

And this is, you know, not something that we just did overnight as we talked about

on a prior podcast. This was, you know, really a year-long journey of a finding that right

partner. And I'm going to talk about why. So the questions continues to keep coming up.

Like, hey, I'd love to hear a little bit more on why sportsman's guy, because we did talk to a lot of different groups. And as I mentioned on the last podcast, one of our kind of

internal things, we didn't share this publicly. We have now, obviously, but one of the internal

things, kind of an unwritten rule for us was that we would never sell to like a private equity

group or, you know, some venture capital group. And what that means in general, private equity

group is a group of investors in general, not always, but in general, that are managing other

people's money and they're trying to get a return as quick as humanly possible. So that term that, that, that, that, that, that, that are managing other people's money and they're trying to get a return

eliminating head counts, trying to make it look as attractive as possible, and then flip it
