Hi everybody. Tom Woods here. We're going to be talking today about the intersection

of Austrian economics and medicine, but in a way I've never seen it done before.

Our guest today is Dr. Michel Akad, who practices cardiology and internal medicine in San Francisco.

He has a blog called Alert and Oriented, which you can visit at alert and oriented.com.

And he recently gave a very interesting paper at the Austrian economics research conference, held annually

at the Mezes Institute.

And I was listening to the delivery of the paper.

I was not at the conference, unfortunately, but I heard it online.
