I'm Dusty Slay. I'm here with my wife and co-host, Hannah Slay.

Gitty up. And we're excited to be here. It's a Thursday morning. We have Daisy watching TV,

and Sam is asleep for now. And we're here. We're happy to be here. It's been a fun week. I went last weekend. I went to

Columbus, Ohio, which is somewhere I go every year to the Columbus Funny Bone. And it was great.

I had a host this year, Zach Wycuff, a guy I've gotten to know over the last few years. I think I,

the first time I ever headlined go bananas in Cincinnati, the first and only time I

headlined go bananas in Cincinnati, it was Zach Wycuff's very first hosting weekend.

So we've been on this journey together. And then I also had featuring

for me my old friend Derek Humphrey. It's pretty exciting, you know, because me and Derek are,

you know, we're on similar journeys, but Derek went the New York City route. So he works a lot of the rooms in New York

City. And I moved to Nashville to work the road. But, you know, we, there's a poster we shared

of me and Derek doing a show together. And we have lots of posters. That's not the only one. But we have

the one of us doing comedy, probably somewhere

around 2010. So it's pretty exciting to be doing comedy with someone way back then and, you know,

and we're still doing it. It is exciting to retain a friendship with someone for that long. Yeah.

How do you do it? Well, we live in completely different cities and don't talk to each other that often.

But see, when I do that, I just lose the friendship.

Now, we do have a text chain going.

And I find with friendships, I find like it's like people that don't live near me.

I don't feel like when I talk to them, I'm like, let's get caught up.
