a concert and i don't know if he's ever going to listen this but who knows but like i approached him

You were just, like, blowing my phone up with text. Like, dude, I've got a great idea for episode. This guy's been through it. He's seen the crap of CCM. He has been screwed over by the industry. He's angsty. He's rethought his faith. He's had a journey. Like, it would just be a great conversation. Perfect. Yeah. I mean, it just happened to fit so well. But, like, that night, I was definitely not having, like an awesome salesman moment. So I just kind of walked up and I was like,

hey man,

I'm like, hey, man, I got this podcast. We do this thing. And he was just like, if you're asking if I'll do it, I'll do it. And I was like, okay, but then I felt the need to continue to pitch it for some reason. Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, and then, like, I totally, he gave me the email address to email him, and I promptly forgot it as soon as they got back to the car because my brain was mush. Yeah. Fortunately, we have mutual friends in the industry, so I was like, hey, dude, I know you got his contact. You had the heart eye emoji. Heart eyes? Seriously. Yeah, you were the heart-eye emoji.

But, like, I've followed these guys for over 10 years now and, like, I was super stoked to get him on the show.
