General Mark Milley is going to have to answer bombshell revelations that he twice, not once, but twice secretly contacted Chinese officials over concerns that President Trump could spark a war with China,

all the while holding top secret meetings to block Trump's nuke access and instructed his staff to disobey all but his orders.

The stunning revelations are from a new book by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa called Parallel and the relevant excerpt was published the other day in the Washington Post.

Perhaps most shocking of all is that according to the Woodward and Costa report, Milley went so far as to pledge to his Chinese counterpart

that he would actually go so far as to alert China in the event of an American attack and that his office would serve as a back channel for communication in the case of such a scenario, promising that such an attack would quote not be a surprise.

According to the report, quote,

Milley also summoned senior officers to review the procedures for launching nuclear weapons, saying the president alone could give the order but crucially that he Milley also had to be involved.

Looking each in the eye, Milley asked the officer to affirm that they had understood the author's right in what he considered an oath.

Now, the fallout from these bombshell revelations is only just the beginning.
