Hey everybody it's your friend Roger Roper I'm back from traveling around the United Kingdom and France and Ireland and I was so excited to be back here in the states that I invited Gene Lyons to come over and exchange gifts, tell him all my stories, and

were recorded this week's telegraph together.

And while I was gone, he used my mixer mixer so we brought it back over and we were going to record together in the same room and we recorded a very fun

Podcast together with all the great emails and voicemails that we receive all throughout the week here.

The downside of that is I unfortunately forgot to plug in the mixer into the laptop and because we were listening to ourselves through the mixer

we were none the wiser so we recorded 90 minutes of ourselves

reading and responding to all these emails and voicemails

through the internal microphone on my MacBook Pro.

So, if you've ever listened to yourself

on a microphone through a laptop or a shitty mic, you know just how bad that can be.

It sounds like you're either underwater or recording from inside a bathroom.

That being said, we didn't want to lose an entire episode and we don't

want to shortchange all of our fans so we're going to release it. I tried to do as best I could in terms of editing and reducing that sound, but if you're out there and you're an audio engineer and you know how to make internal microphone

recording sound better than this, please let us know.

We've had this issue before with with Lewis Hertham.

I think it's a common theme that's what's happening here.

If Big D is not on the episode, which he's not,

it's just me and Gene, these kind of problems happen.

We should have known because we could near ourselves

through Zincaster, but we thought, you know, maybe it's just the mixer.
