Summary

Friend, are you single, like a pringle and ready to mingle? If so, this episode is for you! Welcome back to day two of Love Is, a six-day podcast special about love, dating and sex. In today's episode, we're going to talk about singleness and how it can be an asset as you serve God and prioritize yourself. When I was single people would always share some platitude with me about being patient and waiting for "the one" to come my way. Worse yet, they would treat my singleness as if it were a waiting room and that I was trying to get cured of my disease of singleness. While I wanted someone to do life with, I wasn't waiting around for a man to complete me, I'd already been transformed by Jesus. Marriage isn't a guarantee for everyone, so, it's important to focus on yourself and realize the fullness of who God made you to be. During your season of singleness, you can maximize your kingdom impact, travel the world, figure out your purpose and so much more. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, demonstrated the power of a life of singleness. And remember, you don't need a significant other to be significant. If this podcast has been an asset or a resource for you, send it to your friends, post it on social media and tag me @BiancaOlthoff because sharing is caring.
