Colin Kaepernick, getting another shot in the NFL, is a win-win for the league,

despite all of the hoopla that has followed him around since it's abrupt departure from the NFL

after the whole kneeling fiasco. And before you freak out and say it's a terrible thing,

I'm talking about from an NFL optics perspective. Kaepernick's name is popped up again recently,

as he just completed a workout for the Raiders after continually being passed up by teams

year after year. Now I can sit here and I can talk about how hypocritical he is for crawling back

to the same people that he's basically called slave owners, or to sit here and question his motives.

But that's the low-hanging fruit and overtly obvious, and I've already talked about that.

My stance on Kaepernick making a roster being positive for the league is pretty simple,

and it's multi-pronged as well. If Kaep does make a roster, and he does not do well,

it totally blows up the narrative of being black balls from the league, only because of his

political views, and puts another feather in the cap of the Kaep just not being good enough

to be picked up hat. Now I'm sure he'll still find an excuse why it didn't work out,

but the proof would be in the proverbial pudding. If he makes a roster and does well,

then it's a redemption story of how the NFL changed their ways and game Kaepernick the chance he

deserves, and the NFL will be praised by all of the mainstream sports media outlets, and for being

so inclusive and showing growth and understanding for what Kaep stood for and did, which in my

opinion is total baloney, but we all know they would definitely run with that narrative.
