Hey, guys, welcome to the messy table. I'm Jen Juel, the host of this conversation style podcast, which airs a

brand new episode every other Tuesday. Today I have my good friend Amy Groschelle joining me as my co-host,

and we are partnered with the women of our church, Life Church, as well as really any person, anywhere in the world

who's taking this messy, broken, beautiful, complex thing we call life and surrendering it

to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

So why do we call it the messy table?

Because, as you know, that's where we gather.

That's where we feast.

That's where my kids throw their backpacks and where we huddle together to share the good

stuff and the hard stuff.

For you, it might be your desk or the corner of your

favorite coffee shop, or it might be your actual kitchen table. Whatever it is, it's not magical

in itself, but God will meet you even there. Our goal here is simply to offer a safe space where

we can dare to remember what matters most, where we can listen to the stories of ordinary,

imperfect women who've been impacted by our extraordinary perfect God.

Jesus told stories, because stories stick, and we want to continue following his example.

Like Revelation 1211 describes, our enemy is defeated by the blood of Jesus, by his sacrifice on the cross,

his miraculous resurrection, and by the word of our testimonies, sharing what he's done in our

actual real lives. Guys, we have been invited into this scandalous redemptive story. You have

been invited to take your place at this table. So wherever

you are, whatever your background, whatever you're facing on this exact day, God sees you,

he hasn't left you. And we pray he'll use this little podcast as a breath of fresh air. Well,
