Today on the online inquire podcast, Illinois misses out on its top target at the point guard position in the transfer portal as Ray J. Dennis commits to Baylor, not Illinois.

What's that mean for Illinois? Because now they have a different transfer guard. Jeremiah Williams,

one they showed a lot of interest in last year, but he chose Iowa State after transferring from

Temple. But he's coming off a serious Achilles injury.

So certainly Jeremiah Williams, when healthy, fills a void, the biggest void left on an

otherwise strong roster.

But what can Illinois count on him next year?

And are they done?

Is this it?

The scholarships are all accounted for at this point.
