Yesterday, we learned that deep down in the basement of a Mississippi courthouse was an arrest warrant

for Carolyn Bryant Dunham that was never executed. That name is not familiar to you, that is the woman

that wrongly accused a teenage boy in essence of sexual harassment. His name is Emmett too.

She said that Emmett not only whistled at her but said some things. She has later said that she made

all of that up. Of course, those were the words that literally got Emmett killed. And now we know for sure

that there was actually an arrest warrant issued for her that was never executed. Why it's just now

being found makes my blood boil. This was 67 years ago. That's what we're talking about right now.

And if anything, what it tells me is all the people that claim that they have investigated this case

and have tried to look at this case from many different ways, I am questioning how serious any of them,

including the Biden administration, ever were. Let me unpack and explain it. This is important.

United States is a very frustrating, exhausting place. And so many times in life and on this podcast

on social media, you'll hear me say my blood is boiling. And today is one of those days

because one of the ugliest, most egregious actions to ever happen in modern American history.

And we're talking about a country that has a lot of ugliness on its name was the brutal,

disgusting lynching of a teenage boy named Emmett Till. Kind sweet soul, who would still be alive

today, who would probably be a grandfather in Chicago, a great grandfather in Chicago,

who's peers, who's family is still alive, still fighting for justice in spite of the fact

that this boy was lynched 67 years ago. And he was lynched deep in the heart of Mississippi,

there on summer vacation as black families throughout the country would often do they would return

south during the summer and spend time with their country cousins. And it's just a black tradition.
