Summary

Today we're discussing "January 6" β€” what really happened on that day in 2021 and how the Democrats have been using it to take political prisoners and silence dissent. Joining us to make sense of all the information is senior writer for American Greatness Julie Kelly. Julie has been covering what happened on Jan. 6, 2021, and the aftermath since Jan. 7, 2021, and reveals details of things that happened that day and afterward that most Americans aren't aware of. The way that suspects and persons of interest are being treated in this case is extremely alarming. Some people arrested for actions on January 6 have suffered solitary confinement and face decades in prison despite being charged with non-violent offenses. Julie talks about how she thinks this will all play out and what January 6 will mean for the midterm elections and the country in general. --- Today's Sponsors: Chamonix by Genucel β€” go to Genucel.com/ALLIE & use promo code 'ALLIE' to get an extra discount at checkout plus free shipping! And then some people went crazy, some people were peaceful or whether you believe what the mainstream media says about it being a coup attempt of violent insurrection that was provoked by Donald Trump.

1:50.2

Whatever you think about that, can we just agree that justice should be impartial that we don't want the justice department going after people because of their political affiliation?

2:01.4

Can we all agree that we should be a country that upholds someone's due process rights, no matter their ideology, no matter what they think about the integrity or the lack of integrity of an election.

2:14.3

Like shouldn't we just agree on that? Shouldn't we agree that justice should be proportionate to the crime that's committed?

2:22.4

Shouldn't we agree that maybe some people that didn't even commit any kind of violent crime on January 6th shouldn't serve a longer time in prison than people who say murder to child?
