is that consistently time and time again, the Slash Filmcast is able to predict, may

presage what happens in popular culture. Just take for instance our conversation about

bringing food into theaters and by that I mean tweeting out an image that a kind listener

sent us of his girlfriend bringing in a huge bag of spaghetti. A story that was picked

up of multiple local news stations or take for instance our conversation about the

cultural relevance of Avatar. A movie that no one can recall any details about including

Jeff Connata, the strongest Avatar proponent on the podcast. Well we've done it again folks

because over the course of the last few weeks on the Slash Filmcast Afterdog.

iPhone and the pandemic and everything. We played a clip of us talking. It was a pandemic.

It was our review of Fury. When you're like in 2022, we're going to be talking about

what we're going to use. Yeah. Yeah. So in our episode 291, we predicted that we kind

of predicted that something like this. Well, we didn't predict the pandemic. We predicted

that we would be watching movies at home before they went to theaters, which is what happened
