Manafort has apparently

cut a deal with the federal government, with the Mueller investigation. We don't know what that deal

encompasses. We know that Paul that Paul Manafort had already been convicted on several felony

counts related to bank and tax fraud charges. And then he was to move on to a second trial.

And he pled guilty in that trial to avoid a longer sentence, apparently. According to the New York

Times, the negotiations over a plea deal related to a separate set of seven charges encompassing
