In 2015, six years ago, there were still 2.1 million people using AOL's dial-up service.

That is incredible to me.

Yesterday, we talked about how Apollo Global Management was buying Yahoo Finance, Tech Crunch,

Yahoo Fantasy, and the cash flow stream of AOL.

So, right now, according to inside information that wants to be anonymous,

said that there are low thousands of people still using the AOL dial-up service.

Wow, that is incredible.

Now, I know AOL has their technical support and their identity theft services,

which, according to this story, talks about between $10 and $15 a month for that.

And that alone is $180 million in revenue each year if you've got over a million monthly customers.

So, that's pretty good.

So, Apollo Global Management will have a little bit of cash flow to start off their purchase.

But they claim, well, we're not looking to sell anything off.

Uh-huh. We'll see how that goes.

But I was just amazed that we still have people using AOL dial-up service.

I mean, okay, I guess if that's what you want to use, good.

I'm happy for you.

But it doesn't seem like it would be to anyone's advantage to still have dial-up service.

Hell, I didn't even know we had dial-up left.

Just, uh, I don't know, just amazing.
