Hello, everybody. It's Tom Woods here and another episode of Contra Krugman, joined as always by

Bob Murphy. Last week we talked to David Stockman as part of the program, and we very, very

indirectly covered the Krugman column. We assumed people

would let us get away with that because Kroogman is just boo-hooing and what are we going to do,

kick him in the head while he's doing that. Actually, Tom, some of our longtime listeners were

sort of lamenting that we didn't just kick him in the head. But guys, Tom and I, we have mercy. Yeah, that's right. And I want to know what Stockman thought, because he's a,

he's a big name. He was a big name in the Reagan administration. He's become, he's come much,

much closer to our position on a lot of things in recent years. And he's, you know, he's just an

important guy. I thought it was more useful to get his feedback than to go into the minutia of Krugman's passing column, which nobody's

going to remember. If I may, though, Tom, you and I are important guys, too. Let's just be clear.

Look, Bob, I know David Stockman. David Stockman is a friend of mine, and you're no David Stockman.

Fair enough. Fair enough. Okay, all right. Our younger listeners, that reference is going to fly right over their heads. Do you realize that we have listeners who weren't even born when that joke was told? I was at the karaoke bar and I told a guy, I said, hey, you look like George Michael, do a wham song. And they were looking at me like, what are you talking about? They thought I was referring to the arrested development character. So it's just, I'm on a touch.
