Hey guys and welcome to the messy table, an ordinary space for real women, imperfect stories, and the

God who's relentlessly at work in our mess. So basically, even in the midst of our often crazy

lives, this is a place where we can come as we are, kick off our shoes, and take a deep breath,

truth, and encouragement. Well, I'm your host, Jen Jewel, and today I have my good friend and co-host Cindy Beal here with me.

Well, beyond all that, we just love the Capital C Church, the wildly beautiful and diverse

body of Christ all over the world. And consider it a total privilege to lock arms with you,

and with women from all over who are bravely sharing their stories in Jesus' name. So no matter your background, your location, your story, your situation, no matter what kind of giant you

might be facing at this exact moment, you're wanted and welcome, and we're so glad you're here.

In fact, do you know just how much you matter to God? In the first chapter of the first book of Scripture, we see that God created

people as the grand finale of all creation. He called us good, announcing of all his

intricately detailed designs, plants, animals, oceans, galaxies, only we were made

in his image. That image of God, or the Imago Day, is exactly why we believe that people,

all people, have intrinsic value. So when we ask the big questions like, who am I, do I even

matter? What's the purpose of my life? It all reels back to

us being made with utmost intention by our loving Creator God. Guys, we have been empowered with

minds to reason and make choices, with souls capable of having relationships with God or Father

and with others, with the authority to create, cultivate,

lead, love, multiply.
