All of that, Derek Piper, busy posting some content today on Alana basketball is offseason,

but we got a really good look at Illinois football, a full open scrimmage.

Brett Bielma provided to us media as the coaches clinic was in town.

So hundreds of coaches there, they decided to let us media get a look at this.

And I think the most important part of this is not scheme.

We wouldn't share a lot of those details otherwise because we're not trying to provide, you know, an advantage for Aligni opponents. But we get to see some personnel

where people are lining up, how they look when they line up. So we are going to have some

spring scrimmage takeaways on this podcast today. And we'll also talk about some names you

need to know, some potential risers who will make an impact on this team. So Joey Wagner is

somebody who loves access so we can inform our listeners, our viewers, our readers, some

context, some insight in this Illinois football team. That was fun, even though it was very cold

on Saturday and windy. And you, sir,

did not wear a hat to protect that beautiful head of hair of yours, a problem I do not have.

All true. Yeah, if I had one complaint, it was that I wore shorts on Friday and I wore shorts on

Sunday, but Saturday was truly miserable. And really, the part of that, that's for you and I, was kind of, I don't even say

frustrating, but like, you didn't get the truest sense maybe of the quarterbacks

because it was so miserable out there.

But otherwise, yeah, I mean, it was good.
