We are going to do a gear dump. I just returned from a lot of hunts. I did my elk hunt in the early season for this video.

I did a few weeks of September. I did some fall bear. I did a second elk hunt in Montana, which I have been talking about for the past couple of weeks.

So those have been following the podcast. Y'all know about the elk hunts.

And then I've done a mule deer hunt with lamppers, killer adventure, and we have a few more hunts to go.

I have been a little close mouth on the hunts because we are in the process and I'll go over this on a future podcast.

We've been, we got a citation from the US Forest Service and I want to dive into that on a later episode. I'm a little pissed off about that.

So you're going to hear that in the show. The US Forest Service dismissed the charges. But nevertheless, it's had impact on my business and on our ability to record and share content.

Publicly, the law is garbage. I'm just going to say that right now. It's been out there forever. The Congress told US Forest Service to fix this like in 2012, almost a decade ago. Still haven't done it.

It's a joke. The law is mostly centered on Hollywood type productions. And this is silly. I go out in the woods with this tripod right here in this little camera.

I do not impact the forest the way that the Hollywood does. And you can tell by the application, which says, is this a sex video?

Do you have pyro techniques? How many stuntmen do you have? How many trailers? What's your parking plan? It's lame.

And this isn't the first time a lot of outdoor filmmakers have gone through this. So we do not have a lot of film content that we can share publicly at this time.

And we're still dealing with that. And you would think that the US Forest Service would be like, Hey, public land.

Public land. And we like the idea that you're hunting there and that you're promoting public lands and positive use and that you're defending public lands, protecting them, that you're proponent of them.

Nope, nope, nope. There's a instead we got citations fine told to take our content down everything YouTube Facebook Instagram the whole thing.

We don't have to, but yeah, I'm hot. I'm hot about it. I'm mad. I couldn't tell.

Anyway, today's podcast is not about that. Today's podcast is about everyone's favorite thing. It's about gear.

I've done this many times. We do a back dump kind of frequently and I talk about all the stuff and you can go back and listen to last years and here before each year.

We learn a little bit more and I try some new stuff. I'm going to try to stick to stuff that you haven't heard before.
