| 2:00.0 | We're going to probably do the governor's races a little bit later on this week as we get into the final week of the election. But the Senate race has really been where we've been focusing because of all of the importance there. |

| 2:21.0 | Every House election has every single race up every single two years. So, everyone starts at zero and tries to build their way up to the majority of 435. |
| 2:31.0 | Here in the Senate, we got 100 seats, of course, but many of them are locked in already, not up for election because each one is on a six year term, of course. |
| 2:39.0 | So, we start here with a solid Democrat 36 and a solid Republican 29. That gives you a, you know, you get a seven seat lead before we even start for the Democrats. This is why this isn't incredibly easy. |
| 2:52.0 | If it wasn't for this lead that the Democrats take into this particular cycle, this would be cake for Republicans in this sort of climate. |
