It is my chance to try to reclaim how I write about movies because I did it for a website

for 20 years and in doing so went through a lot of evolution of the way the online film

conversation worked and saw it sort of come to a really great place and then saw it

get co-opted my opinion and really got frustrated by it.

And so the newsletter format allows me to just write directly for the people that are

I do some freebies a couple of times a month but for the most part everything I write

is for subscribers and being behind that paywall really kind of set me free both format wise
