She is a pioneering researcher in the field of false memories.

She appeared in the forensic science episode where we talked about false memories in the context

of witness testimony, eyewitness testimony.

Not only did she practically invent the field of false memories, she's also testified in like over 250 trials in which she's helped to overturn false convictions of people who were falsely convicted based on eyewitness testimony.

She is such an impressive person and her work is so fascinating.

It like cuts to the core of our self identity.

Like what could be more personal to us than our memories and like our

recollections of our own lives and her work calls all of that into question.

It's like incredibly unsettling in the most exciting way and I'm just so excited to talk to her and I hope you guys are too. Let's hear it.
