You may say to yourself, no, not me. I would never want to hear about some horrible murder.

But Hollywood screenwriters and storytellers dating back to and including Edgar Allan Poe

would claim otherwise. From Sherlock Holmes to Hercule Poirot, to murder she wrote in CSI.

People love a good murder story. I'm as guilty as the next guy.

In my teens I went through my Sherlock Holmes phase and I'm as guilty as the next guy.

And somewhere along the lines I got sucked into the hard-boiled worlds of Dachel
