But we saw another crazy game here today, Derek Piper.

And again, I think it's the worst lead as a writer in sports.

But this team is a tale of two halves.

They build a 21 point deficit in the first half, just play awful, giving Purdue an 11 point lead.

And Zach Eadie didn't even make that big of an impact in the first half in really this entire game.

But they let the other guys, Brandon Newman, Braden Smith, go off in the first half.

Had a bunch of turnovers that led to points for Purdue.

But Illinois in the second half is the number one seed, Derek.
