Usually they've been a Wednesday fixture in that tournament,

but they're playing in Thursday of the Big Ten tournament

as they are the number six seed after tying for fifth place in the Big Ten.

As Illinois goes 21 and 8 overall,

decades and they finish tied for fifth in the Big Ten at 11 and seven overall. First time Illinois

finished top five in the Big Ten in more than 10 years and 11 wins in the Big Ten is the long

best in more than two decades. So unbelievable first season.

I mean, you put it into context, the Nancy Fay era, Illinois won seven Big Ten games in five

seasons. Shauna Green did that by the time they got to mid-February. Pretty ridiculous first season.
