As always, my name is Max McGuire.

And this is Joe Otto.

And today we're going to be talking about something that a lot of people are talking

about lately because it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense.

We have 26.5 million Americans unemployed. We have

businesses forced to remain closed.

We have whole segments of the economy being declared non-essential

that they're not allowed to work even if they wanted to.

And here we have Congress refusing to come back and do their jobs but still

collecting a paycheck anyway and it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense doesn't make a

whole lot of sense to people who are unemployed people who aren't.

So that's what I want to talk about today.
