Together we dissect the inspiration, writing, recording, and release of their fan favorite,

Wasteland, taken from the 2016 David. recording and

the release of their fan favorite, Wasteland, taken from the 2016 debut album In Our Bones.

Chrissy talked about the arduous writing sessions that led up to the recording of the

album, how at times she was disillusioned by the process of it all,

and how ultimately she channeled that into the lyrical content for Wasteland.

She touched on the importance that both producer Andrew Goldstein and co-writer Saip had on the song

fully coming together. We both agree that it's the fans that ultimately make a

song or a band a success, that loyal filing of people who buy the records, concert tickets, and merchandise.

They are the ones who truly dictate your staying power in the music business.
