Broman, behind the camera. How are you, Brent? Well, thank you. Today we're going to answer a few

questions. We published a podcast and we got quite a few questions. I thought we're interesting

and would benefit the whole, you know, all the listeners. I've been trying to do a little more of

these just field questions. Some of it will be just by nature of it, might be a little redundant,

but we're going to try to keep it brief and get through a few of these questions. One of the

questions that came in today, one of the first questions that came in was on this podcast. I did

with Ryan. Ryan was talking about going, you know, covering ground, trying to locate elk. I want

to be able to understand how much ground is covered when Ryan or I go off and start hunting elk.

It's like we're trying to find one that's talking if it's thick or find it with our eyes,

glass them. And if we don't find elk in this spot, we go in the next one. We don't find

out there. We go in the next one. I'm like, Ryan, how far? And he mentioned going 5, 8, 10 miles

in, you know, or more. And a gentleman wrote in and said, but if solo, and for some reason, you get

temps in the 80s and your 5 to 10 miles back, like Ryan does, I know hang in the meat and everything,

but I know that there's hanging in the meat and everything. But still, that's a lot of packing

out by yourself. How much meat loss? So, and my response was something like I said, generally,

we never have meat loss. Hanging meat in the shade in a cool area with cool nights will keep it

for days. When I'm desperate, when I'm really desperate, I store the meat in a sealed garbage bag

under water in a creek bed, bottom of a creek bed, and it'll keep for a week like that. A solo

elk hunt is going to take a solo elk. He's going to take about three days or three trips, I should

say, three trips. We would most likely hike 10 miles out. If it were 10 miles in, we'd hike 10

miles out early in the morning, first light. And then we'd hike 10 miles back in the same day. It'd
