Summary
Let me explain what's evil AND brilliant about this.
It's evil, point blank, because it's going to deny school children equal access to lunch. But what's brilliant, in the most nefarious way about this, is what I think is a central organizing principle of Republicans.
They don't give Democrats ANYTHING. And ultimately stretch Democrats so thin, making them fight in so many battles, for even the most basic scraps of government, that they never really get to fight for deep systemic change.
Ultimately, even though Democrats control the House, Senate, and Presidency, conservatives are still setting so much of the domestic agenda from day to day.
Let me unpack and explain it.
