So you might have noticed that we've been talking a lot about the White Sox farm system.

Not just here on the podcast, but on our pregame shows, our post game shows, my Twitter feed.

You know, I've never been to Charlotte or Birmingham.

I haven't been to Winston-Salem or Canapolis.

But I find myself talking about the White Sox Mario League teams in these towns just about every day.

And since the winter meetings, when the rebuild officially began with the Chris Sale trade,

the Sox have traded away, I believe, 10 of their best players.

And in return, Rick Hahn, Kenny Williams and Company have stocked their system with some of the best young

talent in baseball. So now the question is, how good, or should we say, how great is this talent?

Our guest today on the podcast is going to tell us. Jeff Passon, the great baseball columnist

for Yahoo Sports, spent a few weeks speaking with,

I believe the number is 24, 24 people throughout the game.

We're talking GMs, farm directors, scouts, and other front office personnel, American League,

National League, asking them all who they think has the best farm system in baseball.

And when he tabulated his findings, the runaway favorite was the White Sox.

So coming up on the podcast, Jeff is going to explain why the White Sox farm system ranked number one in the eyes of so many people outside of the White Sox organization.

How this might affect free agency in 2019 and 2020. An interesting take that he had on it that I'm starting to believe might be the case in 2019 and 2020. He'll get to that. Also, will the Cubs one day,
