That is the sound of the award shows going down the drain. Wow, we talked yesterday that

the numbers could not have been good for the Grammys, and that was correct. They were

the worst ever. They cratered 53% from last year's results. 18 to 49 age group down 61%

from last year's final numbers. Wow, an all time low. 8.8 million who did show up for

Trevor Noah hosting the Grammys, which was wonderful. It was even worse than that, really,

because the network, CBS, that wasn't just the cable numbers. They put all the data together,

so they talked about who streamed the primetime ceremony on CBS.com, the CBS app, and the

newly relaunched Paramount plus streamer. I guess that they didn't count the home viewing

or delayed viewing, but really in today's world, that isn't really a bad thing anymore,

because that's the way they all are bundling. If they have to, that's who's watching. It

isn't just the cable, but no matter what, altogether, still the worst numbers. Amazing. They

just released the Oscars nomination yesterday. They've got to be sweating. We'll go get

into a little bit more of the Oscars as the show continues because they have got to be

sweating bullets, and we'll get to that as well, as I'm excited about talking to a man

today, about a movie that he's starting that is incredible, and I am looking forward to

So shock, shock, shock news, breaking. Yesterday, the Vatican decreed that the Catholic

Church cannot bless same-sex union since God cannot bless sin. Shocking. I don't know

something the Catholic Church has been doing for thousands of years. Amazing. The next

thing you can tell me is the guy who was caught pumping the stuffed Olaf dollar target

was ordered for a psyche bell from the judge. I mean, okay. You're telling me the guy

caught pumping the stuffed animals at Target has crazy and whacked out of his mind? No.
