Summary

Fatiha El-Ghorri is the breakout star of Taskmaster series 19 and an award-winning stand-up comedian. Her sharp, witty observations challenge stereotypes with humour rooted in her experiences as a British Muslim hijabi woman, offering a fresh and fearless voice on stage. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and the London Palladium alongside Lenny Henry for Comic Relief. On TV, Fatiha has performed stand-up on Live at the Apollo, The Russell Howard Hour and Comedy Central Live, and made appearances on QI, The Jonathan Ross Show, Outsiders, Big Zuu’s Big Eats, Guessable, The Last Leg, Out of Order, and is a team captain on U&Dave’s Silence is Golden. Fatiha has acted in the BAFTA-winning Mr Bigstuff for Sky, with series 2 launching this year, and she wrote and starred in her own BBC short, Donkey. Fatiha’s debut novel, The Perks of My Hijab, will be published by Simon & Schuster Children’s Books .

Fatiha El-Ghorri is our guest in episode 579 of My Time Capsule and chats to Michael Fenton Stevens about the five things she'd like to put in a time capsule; four she’d like to preserve and one she’d like to bury and never have to think about again .
